Intel, a world-known corporation, is the largest and highest valued semiconductor chip maker worldwide on the basis of value; and the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors used in most personal computers. Its products also address motherboard chipsets, network interface controllers and integrated circuits, flash memory, graphic chips, embedded processors and other devices.

Founded in 1968, Intel has always been the leader in semiconductor industry, accounting for about 80% of the market share for microprocessors that go into desktop and notebook computers, and also into computer servers. With the rapid development of mobile devices, especially smartphone and Tablet PC, Intel is striving to position at the mobile semiconductor segment and has introduced mobile processors, such as Medfield, and B940. Along with cooperation with Apple, Google, and China’s smartphone manufacturer including Lenovo and ZTE, Intel will see promising growth.
