Ohmite is a global leading manufacturer in the electronic components industry. It provides ariable voltage controls and headsinks as well as wirewound, wire element, thick film, and ceramic composition resistors used in industrial, medical, military, and aerospace industries.
Founded in 1925, the company experienced a series of acquisition, including buying Memcor-Truohm in 1996, Ward Leonard Resistors and Victoreen Components in 1999. After being acquired by Heico Companies LLC in 1998, Ohmite strengthens the flexibility needed to handle both large and small requirements.
