The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) is literally starting the year right with its annual International Consumer Electronics Show (International CES) happening every first week of January in Las Vegas Nevada.
This global event for technology and innovation is one of the largest gatherings of the most brilliant minds in the field of electronics and consumer technologies. The most recent convention happened last January 6-9 with more than 150 thousand participants from 150 countries all over the world.
International CES is a very competitive event for professional and budding innovators alike. With over 3,600 inventors, manufacturers, developers, and distributors which joined the exhibit, there had also been thousands of opportunities for every attendee looking for an open door of business and learning. Over 200 conference sessions satisfied the participants with new and refreshing perspectives and pieces of information.
Running annually for almost 50 years, this gathering has been a tradition for the technology professionals and enthusiasts, and is also a magnet to the biggest global business tycoons and daring innovators both experts and promising ones. CTA's yearly technology convention is practically like the Comic Con of the field of electronics where the "Rock Stars" of the industry will certainly be present.
Some of the most interesting products and innovations exhibited during the most recent International CES were 3D printing, robotics, safety sensors, latest wireless devices and internet services, and the best of automotive and gaming electronics for the year 2016.
The International Consumer Electronics Show started in June 1967. It was then first held in New York City and changed the course of many lives and the industry per se.
