Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released only late last year. More than three decades of waiting since the seventh franchise and 10 years after the last installment in 2005, the Star Wars Universe finally opened another chapter of its much awaited sequel. The wait is over and is indeed worth it all...

Now that technology is flourishing like Chewbacca's hair, Star Wars fanatics and the whole planet for that matter, is highly expecting a major movie breakthrough not just in terms of storyline, but also when it comes to effects and graphics. But of course Star Wars will certainly never let us down. CGIs are not just better and crazier, they also added a cool new robot in the form of BB-8.

According to the producers, BB-8 should have been easier to create as a CGI. But since they wanted to offer something more for the fans of the franchise, they took an extra mile to innovate a real robot to cast in the movie. Unlike the old R2-D2 in the set, BB-8 in a very special robot with its system and artificial intelligence. Moreover, with its body rolling like a ball and a its head floating on top, it's actually like half magic and half genius.

What's even more awesome is that you can now actually get a pint-sized version of this coolest robot from the makers of Sphero, the famous tiny robot. Little BB-8 is now available in the market. It may be 10cm in size, but it has the fascinating features of the real BB-8 robot in the movie. You can connect it with your smartphone for the controls and play with it all day long or keep it as one of the most prized Star Wars collector's items.

This cool little robot also has some tricks for you. When you shout, "It's a trap!" into your connected smartphone, it will roll as fast as it can for cover and display some emotions through lights within it and shake its tiny head a bit. This droid sure has a lot to offer for your own entertainment.

The makers of pint-sized BB-8 said there will be a lot of better upgrades to this little droid now that movie was released. Certainly this is another breakthrough not just in the Star Wars Universe, but in the movie industry in totality.
