Round and Round We Go: Samsung Introduces Gear 360

Samsung has released its latest innovation and first pursuit on creating a high-technology HD 360-degree video camera -- the awesome Samsung Gear 360. At the recent Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, this global technology trend-setter company showcased this advancement in public and allowed the conference guests to physically experience this world-class video recording advancement made for mobile phones.

The Gear 360 is a sphere-like camera that is just somehow smaller in circumference than a baseball. It is also lightweight measuring only about 153 grams. But don't be fooled by its weight and size. This cool little gadget contains two CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) installed with its 15-megapixel cameras with fisheye lenses on each sides. These durable cameras can capture 3840 x 1920 MP4 video at 30 frames per second. Moreover, the gadget can also take snapshots of 30-megapixel photos and capture looping and time-lapse videos.

What's even better? -- This device has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth settings that can allow users to sync it to some Samsung smartphones through a specialized app. Two of the smartphones which are sure ball compatible to this 360-degree video camera are Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, both best when it comes to real-time 2D video previewing. But aside from the viewing capabilities, the synced handset can also be utilized to command and manipulate the gadget and also use it edit the footage and immediately share it on social media.

Samsung's latest video camera innovation can also be used outdoors since it is water-resistant and dust-proof. It can also carry a memory of up to 128 GB through a MicroSD card. The better deal is it comes with a tripod upon delivery.

The Gear 360 is not yet out in the market and pricing is also for further announcement. However, the good news is it will be out soon this year. And upon its arrival, you will undoubtedly look at the world through a far different point of view.
